Home is where the fiddle is.
The New Brunswick Old Time Fiddle Co. is dedicated to the preservation, education and promotion of the 'Old Time’ genre of fiddle. We celebrate the tunes indicative of this style of playing and strive to ensure the continuance of the 'Old Time' legacy in New Brunswick, through our musicians and composers.
Through our organization we teach old-time fiddle, piano and step-dance. We co-ordinate workshops and dances. We book all levels of our musicians for festivals and events at home as well as abroad. Most importantly, we enjoy this wonderful, danceable music and our long relationship with it in New Brunswick.
